How to save your money by making your own power!
I must admit I was thinking that any website that was going to teach me to make my own power plant was just a fool’s paradise. I would pay them my hard earned money for just some information and they will teach me to be a carpenter, no, an engineer…yeah right! Right? I couldn’t believe that, I think of myself as a smart individual! I do not like getting suckered, but the idea of doing my part for the environment aside from the little bit of recycling I do on a daily basis was something I really wanted, no needed to do, and fifty dollars wasn’t going to make or break me. If it did work, I would make the money back within a month because my power bill was always at least $150…
Well I ordered the information against my better judgment, I really expected the worst. I have to stress that I was totally thinking no way was I going to be able to build some crazy windmill, which would help to generate power that could be used to knock my power bill down by 80 percent, and solar panels. No way. I had never built anything. I know the basics to building a computer, but know also if I want one built, it would be in my best interest to just go to the computer store and pay someone who knew how, to do it for me. I never even had any kind of idea of what a solar panel was much less how they worked. As far as I was concerned they were little magical mirrors filled with mercury powered by the sun.
When the information came, along with step by step DVD instructions and I have to say I was just flabbergasted at how, with the right instruction; even I could build a power plant. After I compiled the materials and gave all of the information a good once over, I felt extremely confident that I could do this. I knew I could, and I knew I could by myself. I have for the last 2 months been enjoying power bills so low I can pay them with my spare change, and so far I have helped 3 of my neighbors build their own systems too, one neighbor even paid me! I think by the end of this year my whole street will be doing this, helping the planet, doing our part. I honestly feel like an environmentalist, and one that has money too, and it feels great! If helping the environment is something you are interested in, if you want to save money by reducing your power bills, or if you just want to prove to yourself that you can build something amazing. This is the coolest thing I could ever tell you to do!
