Why local police do not let us to drive / ride new motorcycle before get reg. no.?
It is very very harassing matter both physically and other way to drive / ride new motorcycle before obtain registration number from local RTO here in Kolkata. We (new motorcycle buyer) are afraid from local police to ride his / her own bike after purchased by heard earned money and also applied to RTO for registration and other formalities like insurance etc. I want to know what is our crime ?
Don’t you have temporary plates, or dealer plates? Not too sure where Kolkata is located, but you should be able to dirve it once the registration is applied for. Call the police or the division that registers the bikes and ask them. good luck
